PaulB Wholesale has 5 early order programs that take place throughout the year, highlighting certain products. Customers can save up to 10% on nearly every item in the wholesale company’s inventory – from sprayer parts to PTO drives shafts to hydraulics, and more. Savings are sometimes even higher.
With early orders, “we’re able to get commitments from our vendors to get better pricing,” explained Doug Martin, sales manager. “We then pass those savings on.”

5 Early Order Programs:
- Exclusive Sprayer Parts Program:
This early order program is for large sprayer manufacturers (minimum order of $10,000). Orders are received in late July-early August. Products are delivered by the end of October. Customer payments are due in March.
- Metric PTO Stock Program:
PTO drive lines and related orders, with a minimum order of $5,000, are eligible for additional discounts off wholesale pricing. Orders are received by the end of August. Drive lines, metric clutches, yokes, etc., are delivered in late December or early January. No payments are due until February.
- Hydraulic Cylinder Program:
Up to 40% off list price on premium and economy lines of cylinders (10-piece minimum order required). Orders are taken through September. Cylinders are delivered in December. Payments are due in February.
- Sprayer Parts Program:
PaulB Wholesale runs this from September through October. Customers can save on nozzles, tips, pumps, clamps, all types of sprayer parts for farm and commercial use. The required minimum order is $1,000. Delivery date is in late November or early December. Payment is due in April.
- Parts Early Order Program:
This program features savings on nearly everything in the PaulB Wholesale catalog. The minimum order is $1,000. It begins mid-October and ends right before Thanksgiving. Delivery is in December and January, and payments are due in February.
A lot goes into the fulfillment of these early orders.
“It’s kind of a frenzy,” said Martin. “The activity in the warehouse begins right after Thanksgiving and continues heavily through December and January.
“Often, during the order entry blitz, we have pizza for lunch for the guys entering the orders,” said Jim Hostetter, PaulB Wholesale president.
“Then, during the busiest times in shipping and receiving, we have some kind of doughnuts, Subway sandwiches, or pizza once a week, on average,” Hostetter added. “It’s a good time to build team!”
